These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Dakota’s Studio (“Dakota’s Studio”, “I”, “me” or “my”).
By booking or purchasing a service from Dakota’s Studio, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Dakota’s Studio
Dakota’s Studio provides practical support for everyday life, including help with home organization, routines, schedules, family logistics, household systems, life transitions and selected hands-on projects.
Services may be provided remotely or in person, depending on the project and location.

2. Enquiries and bookings
Submitting a contact form or sending an enquiry does not create a binding contract or booking.
After receiving your enquiry, I may ask for further information before recommending a service or providing a quote.
A booking is confirmed once we have agreed in writing on the service, scope, price and any relevant dates, and any required payment has been received.
3. Services
The exact scope of each service will be explained before booking.
Depending on the service, this may include:
an intake form or discovery process
consultation sessions
recommendations and action plans
templates or planning materials
research
follow-up support or revisions
hands-on organization or implementation
Recommendations are based on the information you provide and the circumstances discussed during our work together.
4. Client responsibilities
To help me provide useful recommendations, you agree to provide information that is accurate and reasonably complete.
Depending on the project, this may include photographs, measurements, schedules, household information, preferences or other relevant details.
You remain responsible for deciding whether to implement any recommendation and for ensuring that changes are suitable and safe for your circumstances.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) unless stated otherwise.
The price and payment terms for the service will be confirmed before the booking becomes binding.
Custom projects, hands-on support, additional research, travel or other work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
VAT will be charged where applicable.
6. Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to reschedule a session, please contact me as early as possible.
Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled without charge when at least 48 hours' notice is provided.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session, or for missed appointments, I reserve the right to charge up to the full session fee.
I understand that unexpected circumstances happen and will always try to handle these situations reasonably.
If I need to cancel or reschedule a session, I will offer an alternative date or refund any payment made for a service I am unable to provide.
7. Hands-on support
For selected projects, Dakota’s Studio may provide in-person practical support such as organizing a kitchen, wardrobe, pantry or home office, researching products, or helping implement a new system.
The scope, estimated time, travel requirements and price for hands-on projects will be agreed separately.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, clients are responsible for purchasing furniture, storage products, equipment or other items required for the project.
8. Product and third-party recommendations
I may recommend products, retailers, apps, service providers, tradespeople or other third parties.
These recommendations are intended to help you make your own decision and do not constitute a guarantee of the quality, availability, suitability or performance of a third party's product or service.
Purchases or agreements made with third parties are between you and that third party and are subject to their own terms and conditions.
If Dakota’s Studio ever receives an affiliate commission or other benefit from a recommendation, this will be disclosed where appropriate.
9. Results
My aim is to provide practical recommendations that are suited to your circumstances.
However, homes, families, routines and individual circumstances differ, and I cannot guarantee a particular result.
Some solutions may need to be adjusted after you have tried them in everyday life. Where your chosen service includes follow-up or revisions, we can use that time to refine the approach.
10. Professional advice
Dakota’s Studio provides practical lifestyle, organizational and process support.
My services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, architectural, engineering or other regulated professional advice.
Where a situation requires specialist expertise, you are responsible for consulting an appropriately qualified professional.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed, materials created by Dakota’s Studio—including templates, worksheets, guides, plans, written recommendations and other original materials—remain the intellectual property of Dakota’s Studio.
You may use materials provided to you for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
They may not be reproduced, sold, distributed, published or used commercially without prior written permission.
12. Privacy and confidentiality
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Dakota’s Studio Privacy Policy.
Information you share as part of your project will be treated respectfully and used only as reasonably necessary to provide the agreed service, administer the business or comply with legal obligations.
Photos, stories or details about your home or project will not be used publicly for marketing or portfolio purposes without your permission.
13. Liability
Dakota’s Studio will provide services with reasonable care and attention.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dakota’s Studio is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the implementation of recommendations, decisions made by the client, or products or services supplied by third parties.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable law.
14. Changes to a project
If the scope of a project changes substantially after work has begun, I may suggest adjusting the timeline, deliverables or price.
Any significant changes will be discussed and agreed with you before additional work is carried out.
15. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time as Dakota’s Studio develops or new services are introduced.
The version applicable to your booking will be the version made available to you when your booking is confirmed.
16. Governing law
These Terms and any agreement with Dakota’s Studio are governed by Swiss law.
Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules regarding jurisdiction, disputes will be subject to the competent courts in Switzerland.
